On Tuesday, February 15, the Eventeer Awards were held, and winners were announced in a celebratory virtual ceremony.
We are pleased to share that Toronto School of Management (TSoM) was recognized as the runner-up in the following three categories for our Virtual Internship and Job Fair, held July 2021:
- Best Multi-Employer Job Fair
- Best University Event
- Best 3D Virtual Designs
This was the first year for the Eventeer Awards, a virtual awards ceremony that recognizes excellence and celebrates the best in virtual and hybrid events. The awards honour creativity, innovation, and success in events hosted on the vFairs platform.
“This is a great achievement for TSoM,” says Ehsan Safdari, President of TSoM. “As events transitioned to mostly online this past year, we are proud to have been able to offer our students the same quality of virtual events as in-person. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of TSoM’s employees, who go the extra mile to ensure our students are getting the very best with regards to accessing high-quality networking and employment opportunities.”
With over 200 nominations submitted across all categories, winners were selected through a voting system and awarded during a livestream event, which also featured acceptance speeches and online entertainment.
TSoM thanks vFair’s Eventeer Awards for their recognition, as well as all the students and employers who came together to make the institution’s first-ever virtual internship and job fair a tremendous success!
