Toronto School of Management Students Visit Chambers Steakhouse and Super Club

On May 28, students from the Toronto School of Management’s (TSOM) Hospitality and Tourism program had an exclusive opportunity to tour Chambers Steakhouse and Super Club, a rising luxury dining destination located in a historic Toronto Heritage building. Organized by faculty member Dr. Rasmi Kokash, the visit offered students first-hand insight into the design, strategy, and operations of a high-end restaurant.

Students were welcomed by restaurant manager NG Foucault and executive chef Emanoeil Khacho, who provided a guided walkthrough of the venue’s signature spaces. Highlights included the opulent Pink Room, a private wine-tasting bar, a flexible event space, and the elegant main dining area. Students were also introduced to the restaurant’s compact open kitchen, where Chef Khacho demonstrated how coordination, communication, and efficiency are essential in delivering seamless fine-dining service.

Students engaged in discussions around marketing strategies, brand identity, customer experience design, and the challenges of operating within the luxury segment. Foucault emphasized the importance of selecting and developing team members who align with the restaurant’s values: combining professionalism with a warm, guest-focused mindset. Chef Khacho shared insights into team dynamics, kitchen flow, and how a high-functioning back-of-house team supports exceptional guest experiences.

Students asked thoughtful questions on sustainability, customer feedback, and the balance between tradition and innovation in culinary design. The visit concluded with a networking session, where students had the chance to connect with the hosts and reflect on key takeaways.

Special thanks to Dr. Kokash and the Chambers Steakhouse and Super Club team for coordinating this meaningful learning opportunity. It was an immersive experience that inspired students to see what excellence looks like in the hospitality industry.
