We are seeking a Librarian who is passionate about working in the field of education. The Librarian will oversee and perform complex integrated activities of specialized library/information science services while promoting the library through the development and acquisition of materials and advocacy in the profession aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the College.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees, coordinates, and/or performs complex integrated activities of a specialized library service or area; plans, organizes and implements the provision of services.
- Review, evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations for service improvements and implementation.
- Acquire, prepare, and organize all types of library materials
- Create or participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain service quality and productivity standards.
- Responsible for project management in specialized library service or area; develops and establishes deadlines, goals, objectives, workflow, and operational procedures.
- Monitors and oversees daily operations.
- Responsible for complex problem-solving by working with other departments, vendors, and other entities outside the library.
- Maintain records, equipment inventories, compliance activities, and collect usage statistics.
- Lead, recruit, supervise, and train staff, student employees, volunteers, and/or interns, as appropriate.
- Conduct workshops and webinars on the range of topics based on students’ needs.

Position Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Library/Information Sciences.
- Demonstrated knowledge of key trends in library science, including the ability to evaluate emerging technologies.
- Superb written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

We are seeking a Course Outline Developer, Paralegal Studies who is passionate about working in the field of education. The Course Outline Developer will be responsible for delivering degree-level academic course outlines while ensuring all applicable practices and procedures are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging, high-quality, degree-level academic course outline(s) ensuring institutional and Ministry priorities and quality standards are met with adherence to applicable college policies, procedures and practices.
- Develop course specification documents to provide guidelines for course design
- During delivery, collect, analyze, and interpret student feedback data and report findings to the team
- Research and report on emerging trends and industry standards for the development and delivery of courses taught online and, in the classroom,
- Participate in all progress meetings as required.
- Complete course outlines using the approved course outline template, including course descriptions, course learning outcomes, evaluation criteria, required texts and supplies, classroom equipment and requirements, recommended resources, and completed elements of the learning plan.
- Develop a final course outline drafts based on feedback and recommendations.
- Develop course assessment with grading rubric
Position Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in law, paralegal, or related field is required. Additional certifications are considered an asset.
- Minimum of three years recent experience in the field of paralegal, law or legal studies.
- Curriculum development experience is considered an asset.
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level or in a corporate environment is considered an asset.
- Exceptional skills in communication, critical thinking and research.
- Ability to take direction, work independently, and work effectively with a team.
- Good interpersonal and consultation skills with a high level of adaptability in dealing effectively and positively with diverse team members.
- Ability to produce high quality, detailed written documentation.
Knowledge & Skills:

Responsibilities:
- Bring excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Paralegal Program.
- Assist in interviewing and orienting new departmental faculty and serving as a mentor in implementing effective teaching skills.
- Involved in teacher induction and maintain records of teacher observation & appraisal.
- Liaise with student services for routine monitoring of attendance, student integration, student progression, disciplinary matters and provide strategies for problem-solving.
- Maintain quality control over the curriculum and assessments to ensure that they are current and valid.
- Manage the coherent and consistent implementation of an effectively designed curriculum and practical assessments.
- Serve as a central coordinating authority for the College’s delivery of the Paralegal program.
- Communicate with the Law Society within a reasonable period and act as a primary point of contact to resolve any matter relevant to the Paralegal program.
- Ensure that Faculty Members have the experience, training and subject matter expertise required by the Accreditation Documents.
- Facilitate the monitoring of Faculty Members’ lessons for content, delivery and emphasis on paralegal scope of practice in accordance with the Accreditation Documents through periodic classroom observations.
- Coordinate and schedule Faculty Members (including, e.g., ensuring that a Licensee or Exempted Individual is present in class to teach Substantive Law Courses).
- Assist the Career Services department with overseeing the co-op placement for the Paralegal program.
- Assist with the acquisition of effective instructional resources to support the delivery of the Paralegal program within the College.
- Ensure that the Paralegal program produces graduates who have adequately mastered the required competencies in order to support their continued progression in the licensing process.
- Ensure that all marketing associated with the Paralegal program demonstrably is valid, accurate and verifiable, are not misleading, confusing or deceptive, and not likely to mislead, confuse or deceive.
Position Requirements:

TSoM is currently seeking an experienced professional Instructor to teach professional Cybersecurity, Networking and Web Development.
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited:
- Bring excitement, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the students of Information Technology.
- Innovate, develop and deliver effective learning environment using available resources, incorporating various teaching/learning methods to meet the course objectives
- Manage lesson planning, assignments, class and overall course assessment of the students’ work while ensuring students’ awareness of course objectives and TSoM’s expectations
- Engage students by tutoring and academic counselling while providing constructive feedback and encouragement when needed
- Challenging ideas, encouraging students to develop skills and knowledge in critical and rational thinking
Knowledge & Skills:
- Previous teaching experience at a college or a university level is preferred;
- Experience with Linux Programming, Encryption, algorithms and hashes, password cracking techniques and cyber-attacks.
- Knowledge in OS and WIFI hacking, extensive knowledge with Wireshark software.
- Highly experienced with Java, .NET, C ++, Python, Pentest.
- Has proven record of, supervising students, providing support and feedback in constructive and meaningful manners is highly desirable;
- Current technical knowledge of internet and network technologies, such as: firewalls, routing, LAN, OSI, DNS, HTTP and DHCP.
- Ability to communicate complex information to both international and domestic students both orally and written in an understandable manner;
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equality when interacting with students and colleagues;
- Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team;
- Being able to work under pressure/fast-paced environment and deliver on scheduled deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent professional courses is required.
- Masters in Science or an appropriate discipline is considered an asset.
- 4 years’ of teaching experience in the vocation or equivalent work experience in a related field or combination of both;
- Minimum of 5 years’ of professional experience in Information Technology, Networking and/or Cyber Security.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) is an asset
- Certification in CEH, MCSA + CCNA Security+, LPT, or CCISO is highly recommended.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is an asset.
