Toronto, 26 February 2018 – Toronto School of Management (TSoM) has officially received the ACCA Silver Learning Partner Status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and also becoming the first and only tuition provider in Canada.
The prestigious award recognizes that TSoM provides high quality ACCA tuition, supporting learners throughout their studies. In order to receive this status the school had to prove they meet the association’s performance targets, representing global best practice in the provision of ACCA course tuition and support.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants has over 3,800 members and students in Canada. Ehsan Safdari, Managing Director at Toronto School of Management, said: “We are excited to have received this status, and to see the quality of our accountancy teaching certified by such an important association.
“To become an ACCA Silver Learning Partner means that we are recognized as a tuition provider that can contribute to accountancy education. Our goal is to help students to gain the necessary knowledge and skills they need to access a wide range of career opportunities within this field.”
ACCA is a professional accountancy qualification recognized around the world, with 480,000 students and 188,000 members across 181 countries.
As a Silver Learning Partner, TSoM will be listed on the ACCA Tuition Provider Directory. “When we launched our first programs in October we had the ambition to become a leading learning provider. To receive accreditation from an international body shows that we are on the right path to achieve this,” said Mr Safdari.
Toronto School of Management currently offers the Preparatory Course for ACCA Examination. The course teaches ACCA in a different style, providing more study hours and adding value to the core modules, which ultimately helps students to become successfully employed.
