TSoM named Best Hospitality and Tourism Post-Secondary Institution in Ontario
The Toronto School of Management (TSoM) recently received the title Best Hospitality and Tourism Post-Secondary Institution in Ontario. TSoM received this recognition as part of the ‘Education and Training Awards 2020’ presented by Corporate Vision.

Diploma in Fundamentals of Hospitality and Tourism Co-op
This is a two-year program designed to provide specialist knowledge of hospitality management. Students will gain customer service skills as well as the fundamental concepts of food hygiene and safety, hotel accounting and marketing.
The USPs of the course are the different program certifications such as the Food Handlers Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. These certifications can provide the requisite hard and soft skills required in the industry. This program also has a co-op term that will allow you to gain practical experience in the field.
Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management Co-op
This two-year diploma is ideal for those who want to pursue a management position in the industry. The program is eligible for Second Career Funding and is powered by Oracle Hospitality.
You will develop essential competencies and leadership skills required to manage a team or operations in the Canadian or international hospitality industry. The program curriculum includes subjects like facilities and operations management, hospitality accounting and food and beverage management. Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management
This two-year diploma is similar to the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management Co-op in terms of the program curriculum and learning outcomes. The only difference is that this program does not have a co-op term. This diploma is also powered by Oracle Hospitality and qualifies for Second Career funding.
Certificate in Customer Service Excellence Co-op
This 31-week co-op program will train you to become an expert in providing excellent customer service and experience. You will learn from industry titans of customer service management and front-desk operations, and you’ll develop essential hospitality skills like problem-solving and relationship building. The program also includes 240 hours of a co-op placement which will allow you to gain valuable Canadian experience in the industry.
