Finding your next job with Second Career

Toronto School of Management offers many programs which qualify for Second Career, an initiative set up by the Ontario Government to help unemployed people get back into work.

Second Career provides support to workers who have lost their jobs, offering training and financial support while they get back on their feet.

To qualify for the program, you need to have been laid off and either not be working or only working a temporary job.

In addition to getting the training you need to enter a new job role or industry, you could also be eligible for up to $28,000 to cover your tuition, books, and other important costs that you’ll need to cover while studying.

This program is a great opportunity to get the head start you need if you’ve lost your job and want to retrain. You can completely change your career and begin climbing the ladder to a senior role in a profession that really suits you.

The programs offered at TSoM can help you enter the wider business industry and learn about a range of techniques that will help you succeed in the office, or give you practical skills that you’ll need if you want to make it in business, hospitality and tourism, big data or cybersecurity.

Second Career could be the beginning of a great new phase in your life – and it could start right here at TSoM.
