Cyber Security for Managers

In recent years, cyber security has become vital in all organizations. There is a growing need to understand the impact of cyber-attacks, as well as implement more effective defense mechanisms against them. You will gain a better idea of networking concepts, hacking and internet security required to protect your internal systems. This course is well suited for working professionals. It is conducted on weekdays evenings or Saturdays.

This course aims to bring managers up to date on the latest knowledge and ideas regarding this field so you are hiring the best talent in the market for your organization. 

This is not a full-time program of study, and there are no permits associated with the course.  Internationals may apply if they are already in Canada or attending a program of study.

  • Cybersecurity Networking: LANs, WANs, DHCP, HTTP, TLS and IP
  • Defense: DOS & DDOS, Social Engineering, Hacking, Security Policies, Cryptography
  • Data Loss Prevention: Risk Management, Data Classification Management, Digital Rights, International Cyber Regulations
  • Secure Communications: Security Technologies, Cryptography, Security Testing/Operations
Entry Requirements
  • Required: Basic technical English
  • Recommended: capabilities with MS office SW; Management position in any organization
