Scholarships

Toronto School of Management (TSoM) scholarships are available to new and returning students applying to their first or second TSoM program. You can receive only one (1) scholarship.  It cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer.  See below for full terms and conditions.

TSoM Family Scholarship

The TSoM Family Scholarship has been established in order to support and encourage family members to join TSoM and help them to continue working to achieve their educational goals.

Any registered student who is in good academic and financial standing with the School and any prospective student that wishes to recommend a direct family member to TSoM may apply to TSoM’s Family Scholarship.

Effective date January 1, 2023
Amount 50% on tuition fees for the second student (if one student is already attending) or for the student with lower fees (if both students are prospective students)
Eligibility Students who refer eligible family members* and provide proof of first-degree family relationship. The scholarship will be available for applications sent by December 31, 2024 for intakes up to November 2024.

1. The student who refers a family member must complete and sign this Family Scholarship Application with their personal and contact information.

2. The Family Scholarship Application must be submitted to TSoM with the Admission Application form. To qualify for the program, the students must provide proof of first-degree family relationship:

Documents Accepted as Proof of First-Degree Family Relationship:

  • Siblings/Parents/Children: birth certificates
  • Spouses: marriage certificate

3. The discount (50%) will be applied to the second student (if one student is already attending) or the student with the lowest fees (if both students are prospective students).

4. Installments plans will not be available for the student receiving the discount. Payments must be made in full prior to the start-date.

5. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer.

6. The scholarship will be available for applications sent by December 31, 2024 for intakes up to November 2024. TSoM reserves the right to modify, cancel and limit this promotion.

TSoM Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship has been established in order to support and encourage TSoM students to continue pursuing their education goals at TSoM.

Any registered student who is in good academic and financial standing may apply to TSoM’s Alumni Scholarship.

Effective date January 1, 2023
Amount 10% on tuition fees of the second program
Eligibility Students who successfully graduated from their first diploma or certificate program at TSoM and have paid their first program in full. The scholarship will be available for applications sent by December 31, 2024 for intakes up to December 31, 2024.
  1. The Alumni Scholarship Application must be submitted to TSoM with the Admission Application form for the second program.
  2. To be eligible for the discount, students need to successfully graduate from their first diploma or certificate program at TSoM and have paid their first program in full.
  3. The discount (10%) will be applied to the tuition fees of the second program. The discount will not be applied to other fees such as application fee, books and material fees, etc.
  4. This scholarship will be applied to TSoM’s current listed program pricing.
  5. The scholarship will be available for applications sent by December 31, 2024 for intakes up to December 31, 2024. TSoM reserves the right to modify, cancel and/or limit this promotion without further notice.
  6. The scholarship does not apply to students that complete TSoM’s EAP program, ACCA Part-Time, NCA Exam Preparation or other short courses.

The Sherryl Kintu Scholarship

This scholarship was set up as a tribute to, and in recognition of, the passions and interests of Sherryl Kintu, who was a dedicated employee of Global University Systems for 9 years where she rose from Executive Assistant to a Director level position. Sherryl sadly passed away in April 2021. Sherryl was known as a trustworthy friend to individuals and the company, with a passion and drive for everything she did. Applicants to this scholarship are expected to reflect these qualities.

Effective date January 1, 2023
Amount 100% on the full tuition fee of your study program
Eligibility Application sent by May 31, 2023 from existing college applicants and for intakes up to November 2024

The aims and objectives of this scholarship are guided by the ideas and thoughts of Sherryl’s family and friends, and ultimately to drive the success of a worthy individuals in the directions Sherryl would have wished.

The scholarships are supported by the Executive CEO and Founder of Global University systems in recognition of Sherryl’s contribution. To commemorate Sherryl’s passion for entrepreneurship and commitment to excellence at work the Sherryl Kintu Scholarship committee will look for a plausible successful outcome in line with aims and objectives of the scholarship.

In particular:

  • The overall quality of your application – clear evidence of ‘passion’, ‘drive’, ambition, and business/ entrepreneurial acumen will carry particular weight
  • The apparent need for funding
  • The goals and progression you will achieve arising from the Scholarship

Eligible Programs:

1. To qualify for the scholarship, students must provide the required supporting documentation. Incomplete award applications will not be considered.

2. The full scholarship will be applied to the tuition fees of the eligible program including books and materials fees.

3. This scholarship is applicable only for on-campus studies and scholarship recipient must have an approved and valid study permit.

4. One scholarship will be awarded. The scholarship is available for applications sent by May 31, 2023.

5. This scholarship is only applicable for international students.

6. The scholarship recipient is responsible for paying all fees not covered by the scholarship such as housing, travel, health insurance, meals, transport etc.

7. In assessing your application, the Sherryl Kintu Fund Board (SKFB) will look for a plausible successful outcome in line with aims and objectives of the scholarship. In particular:

  • The overall quality of your application – clear evidence of ‘passion’, ‘drive’, creativity and ambition will carry particular weight
  • The apparent need for funding
  • The goals and progression you will achieve arising from the Scholarship

8. Scholarship recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for Toronto School of Management and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives in their home region once the scholarship is granted.

9. Scholarship may be deferred for a maximum of one (1) intake from the original admission intake.

10. Decisions of the Sherryl Kintu Fund Board (SKFB) are final.

11. Toronto School of Management reserves the right to modify, cancel and/or limit this promotion without further notice.

Canadian Hero Scholarship

The Canadian Hero Scholarship has been established to support members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community in recognition of their sacrifices and dedication.

Effective date May 5th, 2023
Amount Eligible recipients will receive 10% off the final tuition rate in recognition of their service to this country.
Eligibility The discount applies to the entire CAF community (additional information about who qualifies as a CAF Community member can be found at cfmws.ca). To apply, a copy of the members valid CF One Card must be submitted with the initial application to be considered for this offer.
  1. The student must commence their program before their offer for admission expires.
  2. The student must not change programs.
  3. The student must pay all fees (that are not covered by the award) by their respective due dates.
  4. The student must maintain good academic standing.
  5. The student must maintain a full-time enrollment status.

Second Program Alumni Scholarship (TSoM – CCTB – Trebas)

The Second Program Alumni Scholarship has been established in order to support and encourage students at Toronto School of Management (TSoM), Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB), and Trebas Institute who wish to continue pursuing their education goals at any GUS Canada College.

Effective date June 1, 2023
Amount 10% on tuition fees of the second program at TSoM, CCTB or Trebas Institute
Eligibility Students who successfully graduated from their first diploma or certificate program at TSoM, CCTB or Trebas Institute and have paid their first program in full. The scholarship will be available 1for applications sent by December 31, 2023 for intakes up to December 31, 2024.
  1. The Second Program Alumni Scholarship application must be submitted along with the application form for the second program when applying to the GUS Canada College of choice.
  2. To be eligible for the discount, students must:

    a) Successfully graduate from their first diploma or certificate program at one of the GUS Canada Colleges

    b) Have paid for their first program in full

  3. The discount (10%) will be applied to the tuition fees of the second program only, and will not apply to other fees such as application fees, book and material fees, etc.
  4. This scholarship will be applied to the selected college’s current listed program pricing.
  5. The scholarship will be applicable to applications received by December 31, 2023, for intakes up to December 31, 2024, that meet the terms and conditions of this scholarship.
  6. GUS Canada Colleges reserves the right to modify, cancel and/or limit this promotion without further notice.
  7. The scholarship does not apply to students that complete English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or Preparatory courses.

The GUS Canada Colleges Pathway Scholarship

A scholarship equivalent to the tuition paid for an EAP program completed at TSoM or a UPP completed at TLGC will be awarded and applied towards the last fee instalment of a post-secondary program at TSoM (excluding certificate programs) up to a maximum of $3,000 CAD.

Eligibility International students who did not attend an English-based education system and have applied to an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at TSoM or a University Pathway Program (UPP) at The Language Gallery Canada (TLGC) and who fulfil the following requirements:

  1.  Successfully complete online or in-person EAP/UPP prior to the starting date of a post-secondary program (excluding certificate programs) at TSoM.
  2.  Navigate to the online application portal and select GUS Canada Colleges Pathways Scholarship in the scholarship section.
  3.  Include their EAP/UPP certificate and transcripts with their TSoM application prior to the post-secondary program’s start date.
  4.  Successfully complete the payment of all fee instalments up to TSoM’s last fee instalment.
  1.  The scholarship cannot be transferred or combined with any other offer, bursary or scholarship.
  2.  Only students who have not attended an English-based education system are eligible.
  3.  The scholarship is only valid for students starting their post-secondary programs (excluding certificate programs) between May 2024 and September 2025 at TSoM. The scholarship will not be applied for students who have started the post-secondary program outside these dates.
  4.  Only EAP/UPP tuition payments will be converted to the scholarship amount. Fees paid for books and registration will not be included in the scholarship amount.
  5.  Any value paid for extra weeks outside the specified durations (8, 12, 16 or 20 weeks for online and 8 or 12 weeks for in-person) will not be included in the scholarship calculation.
  6.  Any value paid for the EAP/UPP after the maximum scholarship amount ($3,000) has been achieved will not be converted into additional scholarship value for the post-secondary program at TSoM.
  7.  Any changes or cancellations to the student’s application for EAP/UPP is subject to the regular Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy of TSoM and TLGC and any fees paid will not be converted to the scholarship.
  8.  In case of withdrawal from the post-secondary program, the scholarship eligibility is no longer valid. Trebas’ Terms & Conditions and Refund Policies apply for such cases.
  9.  All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars.
  10.  The outlined scholarship is discretionary and subject to change without prior notice.
